Disney Cruise Line will sail to Alaska for the first time in the summer of 2011. This also will be the first time a Disney cruise ship will call the West Coast home for an entire year. The Disney Wonder will sail seven-night Alaskan cruises, departing from Vancouver, BC, and visiting Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway.

So is this going to be just a Disney-brand cruise ship to Alaska, or will the Disney characters be on the ship to enthrall the guests?
Ive always wanted to go on an Alaskan cruise! This may be a good idea! Just hope Disney keeps the prices right, they tend to be priced too high vs competitors! But Disney has the best service!

This really seems like a once in a lifetime thing. You don’t get to see glaciers everyday. I really want to go on this cruise; Alaska is so beautiful.
Well by 2012 they’ll have their two brand new ships, so they might use those two to travel the Pacific and the Mediterranean.

I wonder if Disney could own the White Pass & Yukon Railway in Skagway.
